I've been living in Asia for five years and reported primarily on Hong Kong, China, Laos and Cambodia.

I'm currently based in Hong Kong where I write for German news outlet  Deutsche Presse-Agentur (Dpa) and freelance for other outlets. I previously worked for Dpa in Cambodia for three years. My work has been published in The South China Morning Post, Marie Claire, The Southeast Asia Globe, and other outlets.

I graduated from McGill University in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Philosophy (Honours) and continued my studies at the University of Hong Kong, where I received a Master's in Journalism in 2014.

Besides reporting, I am currently a teaching assistant at the University of Hong Kong Journalism and Media Studies Centre.
